It is the first zine in a new series of Rainy City zines, called THE LESSER KEY OF THE SANDESTIN, showcasing several curious and distinct areas of life and lore in the Rainy City–a doomed fantasy metropolis at the end of the world where wizards guard their rotting magical tomes, gargoyles leer from the rain-drenched rooftops, and thieves prowl through the closes and back alleys looking for scores, all while the rains never stop! The PUPPETHAND'S GUIDE is a companion zine to A VISITOR'S GUIDE TO THE RAINY CITY. However, unlike that system-neutral zine, the PUPPETHAND'S GUIDE is built to work with Into the Odd by Chris McDowall, using the Mark of the Odd license. That being said, much of the world-building in the zine remains system-neutral, meaning any busy GM needing quick flavor or interesting content can use the PUPPETHAND'S GUIDE for their own campaigns without much work.
